Juventus to ditch price tag in order to secure swap deal

Manchester United look set to finally land Arturo Vidal, after Juventus have decided that they are willing to let the Chilean leave. Although the Turin club want Juan Mata in exchange for Vidal.

United were strongly linked with Vidal throughout the summer, however, Juventus didn’t want to sell. But now it seems they are willing to let the midfield powerhouse leave, in exchange for United playmaker Mata.

If the move is to materialise it will be Mata’s 3rd club in a year after he joined Manchester United from Chelsea last January. The Old Lady are apparently set to ditch Vidal after the midfielder turned up to training late after an alleged nightclub incident.

United are favourites to sign Vidal and are reportedly open to offers for Mata. Who they paid £37.1 million for last January. Whether Mata will head to Juventus in exchange for Vidal remains to be seen.
