Juventus turn down the opportunity to sign Fellaini

Fellaini’s contract expires this summer

Manchester United will look to bolster their squad this summer in order to challenge for the title next season. Jose Mourinho is already planning a mass exodus of many players in order to accommodate place for new signings. One of the player linked with a move away is Marouane Fellaini.

Since arriving at Manchester United, Fellaini couldn’t establish himself as a mainstay for the team. He is mostly reduced at the bench and called upon as an impact sub. And for the last two seasons, the Belgian has been linked away with a move.

Fellaini almost joined Galatasaray last summer but a deal never went through as Jose Mourinho wanted him to stay for at least one more season. With his contract expiring this summer, The 30 year old is expected to leave the club and clubs like Roma, Galatasaray interested in him.

According to latest news, the Belgium International has been offered to Italian giants Juventus. It was taken into consideration as Juventus are struggling to tie deal with their long time interest Emre Can.

But Juventus have turned down the opportunity to sign Fellaini, claims Calciomercato.com. The midfielder doesn’t suit their needs and is going to turn 31 at the end of the year, the club wants someone on a long term basis.
