The midfielder is in demand

Paul Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, has admitted that Juventus value his client at £72 million.

The French international playmaker has been the subject of interest for Chelsea and his former club Manchester United.

And now they know the 22-year old’s price tag, they might be tempted to place a bid for him in the January transfer window.

However, they will have to meet Juve’s asking price, as the Serie A champions rejected a bid of £61 million from Barcelona in the summer, according to his representative.

Despite interest from the Premier League, Pogba may keep his options open with Raiola claiming Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain can afford the European star.

‘Paul is very expensive’

Raiola said: “I’ve always said that for me, Paul is very expensive. At Rolls-Royce they say ‘if you have to ask how much the car costs, you can’t afford it’.

We can’t give figures, but last year Juventus said no to offers of £61m. £72m? Juve have always said that’s the sum they want. It’s a way of saying he’s one of the best players on the planet.”

He also added: “I don’t think that the European Championships will affect his value. He’s already established, everyone has seen what he’s capable of.

When he left Manchester United for Juve he chose with his heart, and it will be the same with his next club.”
