Harry Kane has answered the question about his fitness after Tottenham secured a 2-0 win over West Ham United.

There had been questions about Kane who had not played professional football for almost 5-6 months but he answered it in style with a goal near the end of the match versus the Hammers to seal 3 points for Spurs.

“I think as a striker it’s what you want to do, score goals and help win the game. I’m happy to get on the scoresheet today. It was nice to finish it off at the end,” Kane told Sky Sports.

“When you’ve been out for over six months, it’s about getting that feeling back on the pitch. You can train all you want but being on the pitch is different.

“I’m in good shape, I’ve been working very hard, through my rehab, through the lockdown, so I feel as fit as I ever have done before. I’ve been able to rest, recover and work on a few things I hadn’t been able to over the years, so I feel in good shape.

“Scoring is one of the best feelings in the world, and it’s been a while since I’ve done it, so it’s great to do that.”
