Keane Makes Champions League Cut

Manchester United manager David Moyes has named his 32 man squad for the Champions League group stages and it includes England Under 21 striker Will Keane. 

Keane has made just one appearance for United’s first team and his twin brother Michael who plays in defence spent last season on loan at Championship outfit Leicester City. 

Keane, 20, is not the only youngster included in the squad, defender Thomas Thorpe and midfielders Larnell Cole and Jesse Lingard make the cut for the group stage.

Defenders:

Rafael da Silva, Patrice Evra, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio da Silva, Alexander Buttner, Thomas Thorpe.

Midfielders:

Anderson, Ryan Giggs, Michael Carrick, Nani, Ashley Young, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Shinji Kagawa, Wilfried Zaha, Marouane Fellaini, Larnell Cole, Jesse Lingard.

Forwards:

Wayne Rooney, Javie Hernandez, Danny Welbeck, Robin van Persie, Will Keane.
