Keylor Navas believes Real Madrid can take advantage of their precious away rule when they take on Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu in the reverse fixture of the Copa del Rey semifinal second leg.
Lucas Vazquez strike early for the visitors but Malcom reduced the advantage in the second half. Los Blancos will be heading to the next leg with a slight advantage as the away goal rule could hand them an appearance in the Copa del Rey final.
Navas got the nod ahead of Thibaut Courtois and showed once again why he is regarded among world’s best keepers. The Costa Rican international made a number of astonishing saves and his performance would definitely give manager Santiago Solari a massive selection headache ahead of the Madrid derby.
Navas said, ‘We knew we had to score and hopefully we can make the away goal count because we want to be in that final.
‘Both sides created chances and we both enjoyed spells on top.’
‘We expect a tough game. You can’t think it is going to be a walk in the park because both clubs want to be in that final.
‘So, we have to try and do things better than they do to book our place there.’
