Real Madrid star, Sami Khedira, has admitted that he would happily stay at the Bernabue if he was offered a new contract.
The German midfielder is set to enter the final six months of his deal and has been closely monitored by three of English biggest clubs since the Summer as they all eye a cheap deal in January.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the holding-midfielder and were all expected to make moves in January to sign the World Cup winner, but he has potentially put a spanner in the works by claiming he’d happily stay put in Spain.
When asked about his future, Khedira said: ‘If we can reach a solution [over a new contract], I’ll be very happy.”
Due to the Bosman Ruling, Khedira could hold talks with Arsenal, Chelsea and United in the New Year as his contract enters the final six months.
