Spartak Moscow midfielder Kim Kallstrom, has admitted that Arsenal could be interested in re-signing him this Summer, after spending four months at the Emirates Stadium on loan at the end of last season.

The loan transfer was covered in mystery and shock within the Arsenal camp, and the deal turned even sour when it was revealed the midfielder signed the deal knowing he was injured for the next five weeks due to a back injury he picked up playing beach football.

However, after recovering from that injury, Kallstrom made one start for Arsene Wenger and three substitute appearances, and even scored a penalty against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup semi-final penalty shoot-out, and according to the player himself, the club are very happy with his work and a return could be in the pipeline.

‘We had a long talk about everything,’ said Kallstrom.

‘They were really happy with my work.’

‘Yes (I can see myself returning). We we will see what happens. I had a fantastic time at Arsenal and like their style.’
