The Liverpool boss has claimed there is no deal for the striker to join Liverpool
Liverpool will not be signing Alexandre Pato, according to Jurgen Klopp.
The Reds boss has quashed reports that they are looking to bring the striker to Anfield in an £11m deal, as he said: “My private advice to you is don’t follow the Pato path any longer.”
Reds can focus on other targets
It looks unlikely then that the Brazil striker is on his way to Liverpool but the goods news is that it means they could be focusing on signing other players – Subotic has been linked with a move to the Reds and so have Mario Gotze, Dennis Praet and Martin Caceres.
Pato has been linked with a number of other Premier League sides too, so don’t rule out seeing him in England in the near future either.
