Klopp says he is not feeling any pressure

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that despite high expectations for the club this season, he is not feeling any pressure. Klopp said, I don’t want to say we have to wait the next 20 years. When I sit here in four years, I think we’ve won one title in this time. I’m pretty sure.  We can’t guarantee titles but we can increase the possibility of winning titles.

We have increased that possibility – we have closed the gap. Unfortunately, Man City can still play and Chelsea are good once again. The people will remind me on mass if we don’t win anything. But personally I have forgotten the statement. I don’t put myself under pressure. When I arrived there was a feeling that we wouldn’t win anything. If that feeling was still here I would be gone by now. The atmosphere in, and around, the club has changed. We are on the right track.

(The goals are) Nothing new. Only three teams are allowed to finish ahead of us. We have to ensure that the gap to those three teams is minimal in order to be there at the right moment. But that is very difficult.”

Liverpool play Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park today.
