Jurgen Klopp has said that Gini Wijnaldum is Liverpool’s most valuable midfielder.

Jurgen Klopp has said the Gini Wijnaldum is the most valuable midfielder in the current Liverpool lineup. The Dutchman played a very important role in their last match as Liverpool decimated Arsenal by 5-1. The player has also been a regular in the Liverpool lineup this season despite intense competition and has missed only two matches so far.
Klopp said, “He combines a lot of things that you need. On a one-on-one situation, he can keep the body between the opponent and the ball, then pass the ball.”
He added, “I don’t know how many positions he’s played. In the double six he plays really well. He can play all three positions in midfield and that’s really nice. All the boys are really versatile to be honest.”
He also praised Jordan Henderson for his contribution in the win and said, “Hendo came in on Saturday and played the half space and helped so much with how we defended. He was really lively. But Gini is in a good moment.”
Liverpool are set to take on reigning champions Manchester City in their next encounter in the Premier League, which will be a top of the table clash. The Citizens are currently placed in the second position in the league table after their win against Southampton in their last fixture.
