Jurgen Klopp’s agent has denied that he would move back to Germany next season and manage Bayern Munich.
Speaking to Sport1, he said, “There is nothing there,” when asked about the rumours linking Klopp to Bayern
Klopp is in his 3rd year at Liverpool and has just broken the club’s record by securing a £75m deal for Virgil Van Dijk, making him the most expensive defender of all time!
The 50-year-old still has 4.5 years of his contract remaining and he does not plan to leave soon.
Bayern Munich sacked Carlo Ancelotti back in September after the club had an embarrassing loss to Paris Saint-German. The German champions then appointed Jupp Heynckes who has done a decent job so far.
However, the club is still looking for a long-term replacement and has also identified Thomas Tuchel as a potential candidate. Apart from him, other candidates are Joachim Low and Hoffenheim boss Julian Nagelsmann.
It remains to be seen who will the German champions appoint as their long-term manager once this season ends.
