Gunners legend Perry Groves stated in a previous interview, that young French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia would “fit in perfectly” for London club Arsenal.
“It would take a lot of money to get him, but he’s physically imposing and he would be the perfect buy.”. Kondogbia signed for French outfit AS Monaco in a £16million deal last year, supposedley turning down the Gunners in progress.
“There’s a lad at Monaco called Geoffrey Kondogbia who is very similar to Patrick Vieira and he played at the Emirates Cup. Arsenal need someone who can help in the transition from defence to attack.”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to have plenty of money to spend in the January transfer window, and as to if he is interested in Kondogbia remains unknown.
