Kramaric: Why I snubbed Chelsea for Leicester

New Leicester striker Andrej Kramaric has finally spoken out about why he rejected Chelsea.

The Croatian international rejected a move to the Premier League’s current leaders to favour a move to current bottom club Leicester City.

Kramaric came off the bench against Stoke on the weekend to make his Foxes debut, the striker is Leicester’s record signing after a £9.5 million move from Rijeka.

He has admitted that he took an immediate liking to the facilities and surroundings in Leicestershire, which convinced him that his career would progress more in the Midlands.

The 23-year old said: “Leicester City are my choice because I think they are the best way for my career.”

He also added: “The stadium is very nice, the training facility is big. This is another world to that in Croatia.”

Kramaric scored 37 goals in 42 league appearances for his former club Rijeka.
