Borussia Monchengladbach star Christopher Kramer has revealed his desire to remain in Germany, amid interest from Liverpool and Arsenal.

It was expected that the wanted World Cup winner would be subject to numerous bids in the summer, after receiving high praise for his performances this season.

The 23-year-old holding midfielder has attracted interest from Premier League giants, Arsenal and Liverpool, with Tottenham also believed to be in the hunt to capture the wanted player.

But now it appears that clubs will have to wait to lure Kramer to their club, with the player admitting that he is looking to further his career at Bayern Leverkusen once his loan expires in the summer.

‘At the end of the season, I’ll go back to Bayer. Not because I feel it’s my duty, but because I’m convinced by their plans,’ he said.

‘Some very big clubs have shown an interest in me but at the moment I’m very happy at Borussia.’
