Kroos refusing to rule out exit

Bayern Munich midfielder, Toni Kroos, has continued to keep his future at the club in doubt after being given adivce from former coach, Jupp Heynckes.

The midfielder is still yet to sign a contract extension at the German champions, alerting Manchester United and Arsenal, as Bayern risk losing Kroos on a free transfer. The players relationship with coach Pep Guardiola, has been called into question after public disagreements filling most sports pages.

Former coach Heynckes publically advised Kroos to stay at the club this week. Heynckes lead Bayern to the treble last season, and established Kroos as a star during the players loan spell as Bayern Leverkusen. Kroos was interviewed by Bild, and the midfielder was ‘full of praise for his former coach, saying that ‘he is the most important coach I have ever worked with. His is one of a few opinions who I value very highly. It was great to hear what he thinks.’

Nonetheless, the midfielder refused to rule out a move, insisting that ‘it is my future, and my decision.’ It seems that negotiations have been stalled over wage concerns, and with Bayern currently not succeeding in tying the player down for a couple more years, Manchester United and Arsenal will fancy their chances.
