Paris Saint-Germain are heavy favourites to land Kun Aguero, according to reports.
Mauricio Pochettino has been in charge of PSG for just a week and he has already been linked with a few marquee names.
Inter Milan’s Christian Eriksen seems high on list from having managed him at Tottenham before. But Kun Aguero is who is the biggest priority. His contract is running out with Manchester City and he is free to negotiate with foreign clubs this month.
Aguero is a terrific talent still at the age of 32. Other than his injury history, he could a solid addition to PSG’s forward line alongside Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. Pochettino and Aguero, both Argentine have maintained a close relationship over the years.
Other reports suggest that Lionel Messi could also be lured to the French capital. One of his best friends in football, Neymar is already there and Aguero’s addition could be another motivating factor.
The biggest issue for PSG will be to accommodate Aguero’s hefty wages. He is still very much a wanted man across Europe. Plenty of clubs want him and only a lucrative deal might be able to convince him into signing.
