Kyle Walker believes Manchester City’s luck has started to change and they just need to keep up the current momentum in a bid to win trophies this season.
Gabriel Jesus inspired a brilliant victory over Wolves as City cut their gap to four points to league leaders Liverpool. Courtesy of a Jesus brace and a Conor Coady own goal the defending champions registered their consecutive third win in the Premier League.
City’s recent form saw them losing on three occasions in December last year but since then Pep Guardiola’s side has bounced back and are looking in total control at this moment.
Walker played very little in the last three matches but made a winning return to the side at the Etihad stadium. The right back said, “I don’t think anything has changed since the start of the season, we’re just getting the rub of the green now and our luck has started to change
“Liverpool are still four points ahead but we can only make sure we win our games and everything else will look after itself.”
“We’re in four competitions and we want to win every one, so we just have to keep going”
