Kylian Mbappe has made his intentions clear regarding his future with Paris Saint-Germain.
Real Madrid are heavily tipped to sign him out of all the club’s chasing him.
Mbappe has a contract until June 2022 with PSG lining up talks of an extension. No formal agreement has progressed just yet with the Frenchman still considering his options. It is likely that he will see out the 2020/21 campaign before making a decision.
“I’m thinking about it, if I renew with PSG it will be to spend many years here, soon I will have to make a decision,” he told an interview with Telefoot, reported via Mundo Deportivo.
“If I had the answer right now, I would give it. I don’t want to sign a contract and say a year later that I want to leave. If I sign it is to stay and that deserves time to reflect on my decision.”
Real are reportedly lining up a massive transfer package to convince Mbappe into signing for them. Other than being one of the biggest clubs in Europe, the Galacticos are deemed as the ultimate destination for generational talents.
Mbappe is tipped to carry the torch passed on by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi into the next decade. The chances of that happening at Real Madrid seem to be higher than at PSG.
