Eden Hazzard is the best player in the world, according to Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe has often drawn comparisons with various players as he shot to fame very early in his career. The French international is touted to be the best among the crop of next generation players.
Mbappe came face to face against Hazard in the World Cup where France took on Belgium in one of the semifinals. The Les Bleus won the match 1-0 but Mbappe got mesmerized by the little Belgian’s skillset.
The 19 year old has had a fantastic season having won the World Cup for France. The youngster certainly is one of the talented young footballers in the European circuit currently and recently got the Kopa award for his trickery on the pitch.
Mbappe said, “He is the player I played against this year that impressed me the most.
“With Belgium, in the World Cup semi-finals, he had been impressive while still respecting the game. When he has to pass the ball because the game commands it, he does it without any qualms.
“I was sometimes five metres away from him and I was amazed by his speed of execution, with the ball sticking all the time to his foot, constantly processing information with his head still up. There is no space he does not see.”
