Paris Saint Germain star Kylian Mbapoe has urged his teammate Neymar to stay put at the club and spurn a move to Barcelona. The Brazilian is said to be keen on a return to his former club, having joined Les Parisiens in a world-record £200m.
Mbappe is apparently keen for Neymar to remain at the club. Speaking on the matter he said,
“It is a situation that everyone knows. He has trained with quality as always.
“I want him to stay with us. He already knows what I think of his situation, I have talked to him in a relationship based on honesty and respect.
“I respect him and admire him.”
Barcelona are keen on bringing back the 27-year-old to Nou Camp this summer. However, any move for the Brazilian will cost the Blaugrana around £200m, the same amount they received from PSG for his signature in 2017.
The French champions have already warned Barcelona to make a move for Neymar until August 10 if they are really interested in signing the player.
