Lyon president, Jean-Michel Aulas, has said that Premier League target, Alexandre Lacazette, is a better player than Real Madrid’s, Gareth Bale.
The French striker, who has been on fire so far this season for the Ligue 1 side, is wanted by Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, with all three of them keen on wrapping up a deal worth around ÂŁ25million.
However, according to Aulas, it’s hard to put a price-tag on the forward, especially when he’s better than Bale, who went for ÂŁ85million from Tottenham Hotspur to Real Madrid.
When the Lyon president was asked about a potential price-tag for Lacazette, his response was: “You can’t put a figure on it.
“What’s the name of the Welshman at Real Madrid? I think Alexandre is a lot better.
“But Alexandre doesn’t have a price, so it’s pointless thinking of one.
“Today, there is no positive response to a departure for Alexandre or Nabil or any other.
