Frank Lampard left Chelsea at the end of last season following a very successful 13 year tenure with the cub which saw him become the club’s all-time leading goalscorer with 211.

The England man has been heavily linked with several MLS clubs including new team New York City FC, who have already signed David Villa.

Lampard has admitted recently he will reveal his future very soon and he told Sky Sports“At the moment I have got a few options. There is no exclusive but I will be making a decision very shortly.”

The 36 year-old won his 106th England cap in the final group game of Group D against Costa Rica. And the ex-Chelsea man has already hinted that his international career may be at its end.

“Of course I would like to play for England again,” he said. “But maybe you cannot play for ever so again I’ve switched off for the moment. I have not made that decision either. I’m very aware that my England career cannot go on forever and I have enjoyed every minute so we will see.

“It will be a difficult decision but at the end of the day I would not ever have dreamed of having such an England career so I can only be happy with whatever decision I make.”
