The verdict is out. News has come out of Eden Hazard’s injury and there have been important updates. Question is, will he play again in the season?
Eden Hazard suffered a terrible ankle fracture last month in February, in the last week. It was said that this match could potentially see him not perform till the end of the season, according to the Spanish La Liga side. His ankle fracture was aggravated mainly due to his earlier injury this season.
“We are very sad, because this injury will leave him out of action for at least three months,” Belgian national team manager Roberto Martinez had told AS.. “A footballer like Eden should always be on the pitch. We have an excellent communication with Real Madrid’s medical staff and we are anxious about Eden.”
However, there’s a fresh injury update now. On Sunday, Real Madrid confirmed the injury and released the following statement:
“Following the tests carried out today on our player, Eden Hazard, by the Real Madrid medical department, he has been diagnosed with a fracture to his right distal fibula. His recovery will continue to be assessed.”
Nothing is sure on his end right now and maybe a positive thing may come out the Coronavirus spread – that Eden Hazard will get more time to heal!
