Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc, has urged Chelsea star Eden Hazard to hand in a formal transfer request at the club so that he can join them this Summer.
The mega-rich French champions have been interested in signing the Belgium for the last few months, and speculation has been high linking Blanc with a mega-bid, but so far, nothing formal has been offered by the Ligue 1 side.
PSG have already been busy this Summer after securing Blues defender David Luiz for roughly £40million, but Blanc doesn’t want to stop there, and he has now asked Hazard to issue a formal transfer request so that they can speed up a potential transfer.
Despite all the rumours, Hazard has insisted he is happy at Stamford Bridge, and has even changed numbers to number-10 for the new season, but that hasn’t stopped Blanc trying to persuade him to leave.
‘Hazard is a top player, but I think Chelsea want to keep him. A lot of players are going to be mentioned, but we have already got our priority, David Luiz,’ said Blanc.
‘Some players will ask to leave, we’ll have to see. For the moment, that’s not the case. We’re going to bring in some players, one or two, of great quality.
‘We’re going to wait a bit before making any more signings. Be patient.’
