Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny has revealed that he dreams of scoring the winning-goal on the last day of the season which will ensure The Gunners of the Premier League title.

The Gunners centre-back has scored vital goals on the last day of the season in the last two seasons, one against West Bromwich Albion and one against Newcastle United, with both goals securing a fourth-placed finish for Arsene Wenger’s side ahead of fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur.

However this season it may be different. The Gunners could go into the final day of the season on top of the Premier League and Koscielny admits that it is a dream of his to score the title winning goal.

“I took the bet that I’ll score the goal to make us champions because, for the last two seasons, I’ve got the goals that got us into the Champions League.

“Both at West Brom in 2012 and last year at Newcastle, my goals clinched our place in the top four so, hopefully, I can score an even more important one this year in our last game at Norwich.

“But I have to admit I don’t have a secret formula.”

Koscielny is yet to bag himself a goal this season, but could he be waiting for the perfect time to strike?
