With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani becoming the star forwards for the Parisien side, a place in the starting line-up has been hard to come by for Ezequiel Lavezzi.
With London clubs Tottenham and Arsenal rumoured to be chasing him, the 28 year-old is uncertain on his future but insists he will give it his all for the Ligue 1 Champions.
Lavezzi told Le Parisien: “I do not know. A player never knows exactly all these things,”
“But what I can tell you is that I will do everything to change my situation in Paris because I did not give my best shot and I do not want this to continue.”
Lavezzi, who is currently trying for a place in Argentina’s World Cup squad next year, revealed he is to blame for his slow start to the campaign. “I did not prepare myself well before the championship,”
“And the fact that my level is not good is certainly linked to the fact that I’m a bit weak physically.”
