Left-back to join Chelsea

There is still hope for Chelsea in the pursuit for Alex Sandro.

The 26 year old Brazilian was reportedly very close to joining Chelsea after Chelsea indicated that they were willing to pay a club record £60 million fee to Juventus for the left-backs services. But the deal has broken and Juventus sold Bonucci to Milan reducing Chelsea’s chances. But recently, Juventus have reignited their interest in Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic and Chelsea could use Matic in a sensational swap deal.

Matic was thought to be joining Manchester United but their capture of Chelsea target Lukaku has strained the situation and now he looks close to joining Juventus though there is interest from Inter Milan.

Also, Juventus are close to signing fullback De Sciglio from Milan who can replace Alex Sandro at left-back giving Chelsea more hope. But in case Chelsea miss out on Alex Sandro, they will target Monaco left-back Benjamin Mendy and Southampton;s Ryan Bertrand.

Chelsea have already signed Cabellero, Rudiger and Bakayoko and are reportedly close to signing Brazilian right-back from Danilo for £28 million.
