AC Milan are keen to sign Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus. The deal could eventually be a swap with Higuain going to Milan in exchange for Leonardo Bonucci.
Bonucci spent seven years at Juventus where he was part of a rock-solid defense which had Andrea Barzagli, Giorgio Chiellini and himself. He joined AC Milan last summer at a fee of £37.5 million.
Playing under his former Italy teammate Gennaro Gattuso, Bonucci made 51 appearances for AC Milan across all competitions. He scored twice and provided an assist as the Rossoneri ended 6th in Serie A.
However, it seems now that the 31-year old would be returning back to The Old Lady as reports claim that both clubs are having talks about a Higuain-Bonucci swap which are going well.
Higuain was previously linked to Chelsea while Bonucci had been linked to PSG and Manchester United. Juventus are currently keen to let go of a few players after spending a chunk of money on Cristiano Ronaldo.
