Juventus manager Leonardo Bonucci says Paul Pogba would be welcomed at Juventus as the Manchester United midfielder is set to be reunited with his old friends once again.

Juventus are set to host United in a very interesting fixture in the Champions League. The Italian champions were the better team last time as they edged out the Red Devils 1-0 at the Old Trafford.

But Jose Mourinho’s side are currently in good touch winning their last two games in the Premier League and have shown great improvements over the last few days. So Juventus are expected to face some serious attacking threats on Tuesday.

Pogba came through the ranks of the United academy but failed to make it to the senior team. He went on to join Juventus in 2012 and his brilliant showings in the middle of the pitch earned him a big money move back to his previous club in 2016.

Bonucci said, “With Paul, we have always had a very nice relationship.

“Apart from the fact we are players, we are all human beings and we have grown up together, so we have a very nice friendship.

“We met before – and he told me that it was a great emotion for him to come to this stadium, that once was his stadium.

“I hope he will be playing a nice match, but obviously I hope Juventus will win.”
