Ligue One side Lille have reportedly offered Premier League side Arsenal Solomon Kalou as the Ivorian is desperate to return to England.
The ex-Chelsea man is falling out of love with a France lifestyle and has asked officials at the club to force a move through for him so that he can return to England and return to the Premier League.
Some reports in France have suggested that Lille have contacted Arsene Wenger about the forward and have let them know about his £2.5million release clause in his contract.
It was widely suggested that Wenger was interested in Kalou last January, but a potential deal fell through as the Ivorian was not prepared to take a £20k pay-cut, however, it may be different this year with Wenger desperate to land some form of cover for Olivier Giroud.
