Negredo is enjoying himself at the Manchester side and feels that the Barcelona star would like it to if he got bored of the La Liga. The spanish international reckons that one day Lionel will be enjoying football in englandhowever he did not mention the sky blues even though they are one of the very few clubs that can afford the argentine international’s services.
Alvaro Negredo said: “He is a player who can play really well in any league at all.”
“Maybe in two years’ time or five years’ time he will get bored with La Liga, want a change and come here.”
“My family have settled in well and that is really important to me. It is one of the best decisions I have made on a personal level and a football level. I have got to know the coaches. The city is not too big, not to small. I like it. I’m happy here.”

The striker is very popular at his club and is receiving chants from the crowds and has the nickname ‘The Beast’.
The 28 year old has had chants linking him with legend Shaun Goater. He is surprised at how well the fans have taken to him.
