Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho is dreaming of the World Cup next Summer in his homeland, and he is hopeful that his performances in the Premier League can get him a spot in the Brazil squad.
The playmaker received huge praise from his Brazilian counterpart Sandro earlier on in the week, as he said that he resembles the great Ronaldinho.
However, Coutinho has only one national cap to his name, and that came three years ago, but the Brazilian is still hoping that he can earn a spot in the squad for next Summer.
“I see it as a stairway really.
“You play good football, then you play for a good team and then you achieve the level where you are invited to play for the Selecao – and then you have a good World Cup.”
