Liverpool agree £132 million deal with Barcelona
Barcelona have reportedly agreed a €150million (£132 million) deal for Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho.
According to a report in the Spanish outlet Sport, the 25-year-old is set to make a move to Camp Nou next month, with his representatives chalking out a deal by meeting Barcelona officials.
Coutinho was interested in moving to Barcelona last summer itself, but the La Liga giants’ three huge bids were rejected by Liverpool earlier.

The Brazilian, who formerly plied his trade for Inter Milan, had joined Liverpool in 2013, and has made 149 appearances for the Reds. He handed a transfer request to make a move and explore more opportunities elsewhere.
According to the report, the talks are entering the ‘final stretch’, and Coutinho’s representatives and Barcelona are ‘planning the assault’ on Liverpool. The £132m fee will be paid in instalments, and the club is confident of landing the services of the Brazilian next month.
