Liverpool and Chelsea both sent scouts to watch Hoffenheim starlet Roberto Firmino, as speculation grows to weather the Premier Leagie clubs will make formal bids in the summer.
22 Year old Firmino has been in superb form for the Bundesliga side, netting 13 goals in 24 Bundesliga games, including a sublime chip in Sunday’s 4-2 defeat against FC Mainz.
Firmino is regarded as one of Europe’s top talents, and his club may want around £12 million for his services.
The play-maker has attracted interest from Manchester United, both Milan clubs, Juventus and Bayern Munich, however, it appears that it is a two way tussle between Chelsea and Liverpool for the player.
