Liverpool lining up for Napoli midfielder JorginhoÂ
German Midfielder Emre Can’s contract expires on June this year and despite Liverpool’s several offers for a new and improved contract,he has rejected the advances.Can wants to move to a big club next season-
Emre Can: “I believe I’m good enough to play for a very big club next season”.
His former club Bayern Munich and Juventus are interested in signing him this summer.With Can set to leave on a free transfer,Liverpool want to replace him and identified Italian Midfielder Jorginho.
Jorginho joined Napoli in 2014 and his club form has been very positive.He is known for his composure and versatility and plays as a deep lying playmaker.He has attracted interest from host of big clubs in Europe including trio from Premier League.
Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal are also interested, but the Anfield Reds are bullish over their chances of signing the £50 million-rated Napoli midfielder.The success of Brazilians Lucas, Philippe Coutinho and most recently Roberto Firmino at Anfield, and the adventurous, attacking style of boss Jurgen Klopp would be a draw for the player, as would Champions League football — which Arsenal are unlikely to be able to offer next season, reports The Mirror.
