The winger could leave the Bundesliga side this summer
Douglas Costa could soon be on his way to the Premier League, with Liverpool keen to sign the winger.
According to reports, the Brazilian is being chased by the Reds and they plan to launch a move for him when the summer transfer window opens.
The player himself has only fuelled rumours that he could be leaving the Bundesliga by claiming he has had “contacts with teams from England, Spain and also France.”
If this is true, then we could soon see the 26-year old in England.
Klopp isn’t short of wingers, as he currently has the likes of Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana who can play that role for him at Anfield. However, the addition of Costa could provide some much needed competition in that spot and ultimately, he could decide to Costa ahead of some of his current wingers.
He could be available for relatively cheap as well, with Bayern Munich valuing Costa at around £26m, which is around the same amount that they originally paid Shakhtar Donetsk for him.
They could face competition for his signature though from Juventus, who are willing to give him a chance in Serie A and the Champions League and also Tottenham, who will be looking to strengthen their squad so that they too are able to compete in Europe next year.
