According to reports from the Guardian, Liverpool are closing in on signing left-back Andrew Robertson
Andrew Robertson is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Championship club Hull City and the Scotland national team. Robertson began his senior career with Queen’s Park in 2012 before joining Dundee United a year later.
As speculation continues regarding the future of Alberto Moreno at Anfield, it seems Klopp’s keen on bringing in competition for him, or possibly a replacement
The Spaniard lost his place to James Milner last season and although the former England international performed admirably in the role, there were still calls for manager Jurgen Klopp to sign another specialist left-back in the summer window.
Moreno, meanwhile, seems almost certain to leave Liverpool this summer. The 25-year-old made just two Premier League starts last season, and while the club have already rejected an ÂŁ11m bid from Napoli for his services, an improved offer of ÂŁ15m will see him depart Merseyside after three seasons.
