Philippe Coutinho has signed a new long-term deal at Liverpool.
Brazilian international Coutinho has put pen to paper on a deal keeping him with Liverpool until 2022, with no release clause written into the contract.
Coutinho recently returned to action for the Red’s after a six-week lay off, after an ankle ligament injury, but still has six goals in 18 appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s side so far this term.
“I would like to thank everybody at the club, first of all,” Coutinho told the club’s website.
“I am very happy to sign a new contract here. It is a club that I am very grateful to and this shows my happiness here. I will work much harder to repay the belief shown in me.
