Philippe Coutinho faces month out, while Dejan Lovren will miss Arsenal and Manchester United
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed bad news regarding Philippe Coutinho and Dejan Lovren, with the duo set to miss the next few weeks.
The duo were both subbed off during the Reds‘ 1-0 win over Stoke City in the Capital One Cup, and it’s now been revealed that Coutinho could miss up to a month, while Lovren will miss vital games coming up in the Premier League.
Both suffered hamstring injuries during the cup semi-final, but Klopp has admitted that Coutinho’s injury is a lot worse than Lovren’s, meaning he will be out of action for longer.
Double Injury Blow
“Phil is more serious than Dejan and Kolo but none of the three players will be available tomorrow,” said Klopp.
