Liverpool are considering bolstering their strength at the back by adding the 27 year old defender to their ranks.
Since the full-back joined from Udinese in 2011, he has impressed with his abilities at one on one defending and even attacking down the flank, grabbing the attention from the likes of Juventus, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
At the moment, though, it looks looks like Brendan Rodger’s side are the further in line towards sealing the signature of the Brazilian-born defender.
