Real Betis star has snubbed a contract extension in Spain
Liverpool are eyeing up a possible bid for Real Betis star Daniel Ceballos and are confident they can get the deal done on the cheap after he recently rejected a contract extension.
The 19-year-old becomes a free agent next summer, if he doesn’t agree to a new deal by then, but due to the Bosman Rule, he can talk to overseas club about a pre-contract agreement in the New Year.
As Liverpool are not in the same league, they could begin formal talks with Ceballos in January and could agree to sign him before making it a done-deal in June, once his contract expires.
Liverpool aren’t the only Premier League team interested however, as Arsenal and Chelsea are both reportedly keen on the teenager as well.
According to Marca though, Liverpool are confident they can agree to a deal in January, beating their Premier League rivals to the signing.
