Liverpool have been given a huge transfer boost with Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos reportedly keen on a switch to Anfield to play under manager Jurgen Klopp.

Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is reportedly keen on a move to Liverpool as he’s a big admirer of manager Jurgen Klopp.

The 21-year-old joined Real Madrid last summer for £15m from Real Betis. But he has struggled for game time playing only 186 minutes in the La Liga so far.

Diario Gol report that Liverpool are still interested in the Spanish starlet after registering their interest in him last summer before he made his move to Real Madrid.

Ceballos still has five years left on his contract though so it would take a big offer for Real Madrid to sell him.

It’s believed Ceballos is keen to play under Jurgen Klopp and is desperate to get playing time in order to get into the Spain World Cup squad in 2018.

Ceballos started out his career at Sevilla where he rose through the youth ranks. From there, he was released in 2009 after undergoing health issues and was sent back to his hometown club CD Utrera. In 2011, Ceballos joined Real Betis as a youth player and subsequently signed a senior contract in 2014.

He has featured in the Spain U19 and U21 youth squads but is yet to feature for the senior national team.

Ceballos has made six appearances this season for Real Madrid scoring two goals.

Klopp will be keen on the creative midfielder after losing star Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
