In a major boost to Liverpool, Roberto Firmino has been included in the match day squad to face Paris Saint Germain and is all set to spearhead the Reds attack on Tuesday.

The Brazilian’s fitness was a major concern following his eye injury against Tottenham Hotspur. He had to be hospitalised for an eye abrasion and subsequently was released from the hospital.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was unsure over his availability but the forward is set to be featured against the French side at Anfield. He is expected to lead the attack alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

On the back of an excellent start, Klopp would be hoping to keep up their perfect start and the onus will be on the attacking trio. Firmino didn’t train with the squad yesterday but has arrived with the team at the Anfield and could start the game.

If Klopp opts to give the forward a rest Daniel Sturridge is likely to be given a chance. The English international decided to stay at the club to fight for a place and he could be in line to make his first start of the season.

Apart from Divock Origi and Dominic Solanke, The Reds don’t have any major concerns and the gaffer has the full squad at his disposal.
