Liverpool have not made any bids for Mario Balotelli, according to the AC Milan’s administrator. The Reds have been on the lookout for a new striker and reports have claimed that Brendan Rodgers has tabled a £17.5m bid for the Italy international.
However, Milan have claimed that no bids have been made for the striker. The club’s administrator, Adriano Galliani, said: “At this time we have not received any offer from Liverpool for Balotelli.
“Hence, there is no negotiation. We will see as the transfer market ends on September 1.”
The 24-year old has looked to be on the way out of the San Siro all summer, with the club ready to cash-in on him this month. Liverpool and Arsenal have been linked with moves, as both clubs are on the hunt for a new striker.
