Liverpool are reportedly in advance talks with Portuguese side, Benfica, as interest in Eduardo Salvio hots up.
Brendan Rodgers has sent scouts out to Portugal to watch the natural-winger for several months now, and after receiving glowing reports from his team, he know wants to make the deal ahead of the Summer transfer window.
According to reports in Spain, Liverpool are keen to push talks forward quickly in order to fend off interest from other clubs, but the feeling around the club is that they can wrap up a deal ready for the end of the season.
It’s believed Benfica will want big money for the winger, with his release clause standing at around £43.6million, but it’s believed the deal could be done for cheaper than that.
