Liverpool are showing interest in Marseille forward, Andre Ayew, as manager, Brendan Rodgers eyes more firepower in his squad.
The Reds have struggled for goals so far this season with star-man, Daniel Sturridge out injured, and new signing, Mario Balotelli, failing to live up to his expectations, and Rodgers is now ready to put things right by spending in January.
Ayew, who is currently playing in France, is coming to the end of his contract in Marseille, and could hold talks with Liverpool as soon as January due to the Bosman Ruling allowing him to talk to overseas clubs.
The 24-year-old could be signed on a free next Summer, or the two clubs could agree a small fee for the deal to happen in January.
Rodgers’ first idea was to recall Divock Origi from Lille, who is spending the season on loan in France, but he was told that could not happen by the French side.
