Liverpool Football Club are prepared to sack Brendan Rodgers and replace him with former-Premier League manager, Andre Villas-Boas.
The ex-Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss is currently in Russia with Zenit St Petersburg, but with Liverpool struggling this season in England, a move back to the Premier League could be on the cards for the Portuguese.
Despite The Reds slowly picking up form, with two wins and two draws in their last four games, it’s reported that the board are worried that the club are in regression after spending £115million in the Summer after losing Luis Suarez.
Rodgers has made it clear that he is struggling without Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, the latter being injured for most of the season, but the board don’t seem to buy it and could be ready to replace him with AVB.
Villas-Boas, who struggled in England with the two London clubs, is on course to win the Russia title with Zenit, and could be tempted with a third spell in England.
