27-year-old Spanish international winger, Pedro, could be coming to the Premier League.
With the emergence of gifted young forward Munir El Haddadi at the Catalan club, and the ever-closer unveiling of superstar Luis Saurez, following his lengthy ban, it is looking more and more likely that Pedro will be surplus to requirements at Barca in the near future.
The Spanish giants are unlikely to prevent any potential move away from the Nou camp, but will slap a £25million price tag on the deal. This may well deter the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool, but Manchester United boss Louis Van Gaal could be ready to spend big given his recent comments regarding wide players at Old Trafford. He has stated that there is a lack of ‘world-class’ wingers in his squad.
Pedro has only ever played at Barcelona in his professional career (since 2007), and despite interest from Premier League clubs in the summer, chose to fight for his place under new boss, Luis Enrique.
With guaranteed first-team action in La Liga looking unlikely over the coming months, he may already be pricing up air tickets to London, Liverpool or Manchester.
