Liverpool midfielder has suggested he could stay at Liverpool beyond his current contract expiration date but talks are ongoing amid being heavily linked to Juventus.
Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus once his contract expires next summer but Can has urged that he hasn’t made up his mind yet.
The 24-year-old played fantastically in Liverpool’s recent 4-3 win over Man City and it’s believed manager Jurgen Klopp is eager to keep hold of the Germany international.
Can could potentially agree a deal with Juventus this month as he is entitled to talk to other clubs on a pre-contract agreement but has not decided yet.
Can said: “My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer.
“I haven’t signed anything with anyone. I am talking with everyone.
“Of course I am talking with Liverpool. Why not? I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club.
“What can I say? My agent does the rest. I just concentrate on the scene, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team.”
And speaking on his club’s recent win against Man City, one could not be blamed to think that he’s intending on staying…
“It was unbelievable. I think it was the best game in terms of how I saw it,” he said. “Look at how we pressed. We played against Manchester City, you can’t forget that…
“If teams saw us playing like that they will give us a lot of respect and we will take a lot of confidence from it.
His recent comments contradict earlier reports stating that he’s already agreed on a deal with Juventus.
